Why We Are Coming In

The Effects Of Lack Of Education

Children and youths education is key to unlocking prosperity accelerating economic growth through inclusive interventions that drive productivity and innovation is critical and this can be achieved through education. Africa's youth population is growing and will increasingly become the world's workforce and this cannot be achieved without educational knowledge. It is estimated that by 2030 Africa will be home to the world's largest workforce with almost 400 million young people entering professional labour market. With the right skills,young people will improve their lives and also the lives of their communities. We focus in Africa on supporting indigenous children and youths in their pathway through education and to the meaningful world opportunities.

How WE WORK

Our Evaluation Criteria

We work directly with parents, guardians,teachers , spiritual leaders   and general community to help us identify children/youths  who need financial assistance through their education. The student is required to submit an application and an essay explaining why they need a scholarship. Once the application is received, our team reviews it to determine their qualifications.

The next step is to create a personalized program that fits the student’s needs and find matching sponsors. We also provide funding directly from the general scholarship fund via charitable donations from the founders and other supporters.

The final step is to award the deserving student the scholarships.

How WE WORK

Our Support Criteria

We want to make sure that we are only directing our resources to the deserving students willing to work hard and bring a change to the community.

Therefore, we  do not end with scholarships;

Here’s what we do to make sure our students stay motivated to stay in school.

We sign every student with a mentor who checks-in with them and makes sure they have everything they need to succeed.

We also have occasional virtual meetings where we introduce our students to professionals in their fields of study to push them even further into achieving their goals.

There are millions of poor but academically exceptional students in Africa and the rest of the world who lack the opportunity to excel academically because they cannot afford better education or higher education.
Lack of Education has several negative consequences not only for the uneducated but for Africa and the world at large. The adverse effects of lack of education or under-education extend from poverty to poor health outcomes, short lifespan, poor government policies e.t.c.

Doing nothing about this problem will only keep the poverty circle in certain communities for generations to come.
